Lotion Bars + Balms

Lotion bars are a gentle, convenient and fun way to moisturize your hands and body. Can’t take liquids when you travel? Take a lotion bar! Tuck one lip balm in every coat pocket and you’ll always be ready.

I started making lotion bars for myself because I don’t like to use commercial products full of chemicals. I learned how to create my own hard lotion bars using very high quality (organic whenever possible) ingredients. Then being the creative person I am, I started having fun casting them in molds to form 3 Dimensional animals, flowers etc.; too beautiful and fun not to share! I take great care to package them, using beautiful colors of organza gift bags (usually your choice) and my very own illustrations on the tags and labels for a one of a kind product! They make excellent gifts! In the future I’ll have some of my illustrated note cards available to add in, making a great gift all around!

The lotion bars and balms are soothing and wonderful for your skin! Most are unscented but those that are scented use pure essential oils. Rub in your hands to warm the bar then massage into your hands or rub the bar directly on your dry skin areas. You can rub the bar on your hands then massage your face and then wash with a warm wet cloth (no soap), your skin will be deeply cleaned and not dry, excellent in cold weather. I like to put a bit on my cheeks, nose and lips before going outside in the winter; it can really sooth that nose that’s worn out from using tissues! I also have lip balms especially to protect your precious lips and keep them soft!

I create small batches so they are all fresh, because of this you may see stock is sold out sometimes. If you will order several from one ‘recipe’ then I”ll make a batch up just for you! Send me an email and let me know what you’re looking for.

As with any product you put on your skin, do a patch test before you use it. Stop use if you experience allergic reactions on your skin and consult your doctor. So far I’ve not heard of any reactions.
